It consistently amazes me how people constantly distort our culture. Now a school in California is banning the use of certain historical sources for fear that our children might find out that much of the fight to create this country was about the right to worship freely. From MSNBC:
A California teacher has been barred by his school from giving students documents from American history that refer to God — including the Declaration of Independence.Unbelievable!
Steven Williams, a fifth-grade teacher at Stevens Creek School in the San Francisco Bay Area suburb of Cupertino, sued for discrimination on Monday, claiming he had been singled out for censorship by principal Patricia Vidmar because he is a Christian."It's a fact of American history that our founders were religious men, and to hide this fact from young fifth-graders in the name of political correctness is outrageous and shameful," said Williams' attorney, Terry Thompson.
"Williams wants to teach his students the true history of our country," he said. "There is nothing in the Establishment Clause (of the U.S. Constitution) that prohibits a teacher from showing students the Declaration of Independence."
......Among the materials she has rejected, according to Williams, are excerpts from the Declaration of Independence, George Washington's journal, John Adams' diary, Samuel Adams' "The Rights of the Colonists" and William Penn's "The Frame of Government of Pennsylvania."
This is a continued pattern of the liberal left's agenda to destroy our culture. Somehow according to the left, every culture in this land is sacred and deserves the utmost respect except for the culture we all share that enabled this great land to be formed.
They look at all of the "Red counties" and exclaim these people must be stupid, bigots, ignorant or zealots. Then they go and attack our culture at every turn.
I am not very religious, but I don't see this as a religious issue. Denying our heritage is a direct affront to every American living or dead. When I was in the Navy I took an oath to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic". I think people and instances like this one require that we all defend the constitution against these domestic enemies. If you read my opening greeting you will find that "I have chose to again stand the watch in the name of protecting our country's freedom and our individual liberty."
I hope that you will join me on the guard tower of freedom and stand the watch protecting our sons and daughters from these domestic enemies.

The IRS meets Black's Law dictionary's 17th Edition deffinition of "public enemy" which equates to "domestic" enemy. The Oath of Office for other than the President contains the words:"I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic." The majority of our members of Congress are in violation of their oath of office. We need to remind them and puss for the passage of the "Fair Tax Act"
Please share the following definition. I do not believe a better one exists on this subject:
“Domestic Enemies of the US Constitution (regardless of status or position, past or present) are those who manipulate the law or lawmakers to violate the Founder’s intent, to remove their safeguards, distort, circumvent, or in any way threaten the US Constitution, minimize sovereignty, infringe upon state and individual rights, usurp authority, advance tyranny, or who provide immunity or pardons for such or conceal or promote this agenda.”
Of the many powerful enemies of freedom, America has no greater enemy, foreign or domestic (nor greater criminal offense can be committed) than a federal official who (willfully, or through neglect, bribery, or coercion) undermines the Constitution and violates the Founder’s intent.
