Kerry says he will reinitiate the Draft

Not satisfied with scaring the elderly with social security and Medicare lies the democrats are continuing their expansion, now they are scaring the young.

First by spreading Rumor via a hoax email. That worked for a while, but proved not to be enough once the house called a vote on their bogus "reinstate the draft bill" (HR 163). The bill went down to defeat 402-2. Minus an actual bill pending in the house how were they going to continue their charade.

Maybe they could send out their minions to continue spreading the rumor and scaring the kids. That might work for a time. Unfortunately President Bush said in no uncertain terms on national TV that a draft would not be reinstated. Since despite all, the public still believes the President the rumor of the draft eased and the scare was fading.

Without the fear of the draft the democrats feared that support might fade. What were they to do?

This was no job for an underling only something from their candidate might be able to stir things up again.

Speaking to the Des Moines Register, Kerry said "With George Bush, the plan for Iraq is more of the same and the great potential of a draft. Because if we go it alone, I don't know how you do it with the current overextension" of the military.

So they're at it again, except this time their candidate is doing the dirty work. If you read his statement above it is a good thing that President Bush is going to be elected because Kerry states that he doesn't know how to command the military in this situation with out restarting the draft.

It seems dumb to admit that if your elected you will reinitiate the Draft, because without it you "don't know how you do it with the current overextension" of the military.

Update: Wizbang has his own take, "Is that a draft I feel?" "No, Senator Kerry's talking out his ass again."
Update: Shape of Days calls it "Draft schmaft: The non-issue that wouldn't die"
