I'm not sure if the 700b dollar bailout was the best thing to do but it might have been the right thing. However it looks more and more that Pelosi was determined to use this bill as a political bat against Republicans. How else could it be that of the 229 voting against this bill 94 were Democrats. She is in full partisan mode blaming 12 Republicans for killing this bill and being "unamerican". Yet she gave a pass to many in her own party, including those in positions of power.
