President Bush scores a B-, Kerry scores a D.

WASHINGTON, DC -- The Independent Women's Forum today released a special report, "Women's Economic Independence Report Card: Which Candidate Would Make Women More Free and Independent?" The report evaluates President Bush and Senator John Kerry on six key policy issues and finds President Bush scoring higher than Senator Kerry in promoting independence for women.

...President Bush received an overall grade of B- while Senator Kerry received a D. The only A was given to President Bush for his current and future proposals on tax policy. The report card found both Bush and Kerry have dismal records on government spending, both earning Fs.
